Biography
Mike Wilds, born on 7 January 1946 in Chiswick, is a British racing driver. He won several Formula 3 races in the early 1970s before switching to Formula 5000.
Between 1974 and 1976 he was entered in eight Formula One World Championship races but started only three. He made his debut on 20 July 1974, first in a March run outside the works team and then in an Ensign. In 1975 he drove for BRM. He did not score any points. He competed at Le Mans eight times, including 1988 with Nissan alongside Win Percy. In 2008 he won the Britcar Drivers Championship with Ian Lawson and his son Anthony. In 2018, aged 72, he took part in the final round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain at Brands Hatch.
