How our texts are made
The numbers on this site come from F1DB, a freely licensed database of Formula 1 since 1950. Sentences like "73rd win for Max Verstappen" are created automatically from fixed templates, straight from those numbers. Nothing is estimated and nothing is added.
The headlines on the home page are the headlines of the respective outlets, unchanged and linked to the original article. We do not take article text or teasers. Each language version shows headlines in its own language, the German and Spanish versions also some in English. All appear as published, we do not translate headlines. Outlets whose terms do not allow this are not shown there.
Driver biographies and circuit histories are created automatically, based on Wikipedia and F1DB. Every sentence is then checked automatically against the sources, and anything not supported is removed.
Mistakes still happen. If you spot one, please report it on the Corrections page. We correct openly and note the correction on the text.
