Biography

Arvid Lindblad was born on 8 August 2007 in Virginia Water, England. He started competitive karting in 2015 and won the WSK Super Master Series in the OKJ class in 2020. In 2021 he joined the Red Bull Junior Team and took the WSK Euro Series and the WSK Final Cup in the OK class. He made his single-seater debut in 2022 in Italian F4 with Van Amersfoort Racing and finished 17th overall. In 2023 he took third place in the same series with Prema Racing, winning all three races at Monza, and won the F4 race at Macau.

In 2024 he raced for Prema in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, finishing fourth overall as the highest-scoring rookie. He became the youngest feature race winner in the series' history and the first driver in the series to win both races of a weekend, which he did at Silverstone. In 2025 he won the Formula Regional Oceania title with M2 Competition, taking six victories. The same year he drove for Campos Racing in Formula 2 and finished sixth in the standings with three wins. His victory in Jeddah was awarded to him after a penalty for Richard Verschoor, which made him the youngest winner in Formula 2 history at 17 years and 254 days.

In Formula One, Lindblad took part in free practice for Red Bull at three Grands Prix in 2025: the British Grand Prix in place of Yuki Tsunoda, Mexico City in place of Max Verstappen, and Abu Dhabi, again for Tsunoda. For 2026 he replaced the promoted Isack Hadjar at Racing Bulls and drives alongside Liam Lawson. He made his debut aged 18 at the Australian Grand Prix, where he qualified ninth and finished eighth. At his home race at Silverstone he finished seventh, as he did in Monaco.
