Biography

Heinrich "Heini" Walter was born in Alpthal, Switzerland, on 28 July 1927 and died on 12 May 2009. He was a racing driver who also took part in Formula One races outside the World Championship.

His only start in the Formula One World Championship came on 5 August 1962, driving a Porsche. He finished 14th and did not score any championship points.
