Biography
Fritz d'Orey, whose full name was Frederico José Carlos Themudo d'Orey, was born in São Paulo on 25 March 1938. The Brazilian racing driver was of German and Portuguese descent.
He made his Formula One World Championship debut on 5 July 1959. That season he started three Grands Prix, in cars built by Maserati and Tec-Mec, and he did not score a championship point. Fritz d'Orey died on 31 August 2020.
