Biography
Brian McGuire was born in East Melbourne on 13 December 1945 and worked as both a racing driver and a constructor. He travelled to Britain together with his fellow Australian Alan Jones.
For the 1977 race he modified his Williams FW04 and renamed it the McGuire BM1. He failed to pre-qualify with it for the British Grand Prix, and he never started a World Championship race. He died at Brands Hatch on 29 August 1977 during a race of the Shellsport G8 Championship.
