Biography
Bernard Collomb was born in Annecy on 7 October 1930 and was a French racing driver. Between 1961 and 1964 he was entered for six Formula One World Championship rounds and started four of them: two in 1961 and one each in 1962 and 1963. His single entry in 1964 did not result in a start. He raced a Cooper in his first two seasons and a Lotus afterwards, and he almost always ran cars that he had prepared himself. He scored no championship points.
His best result in Formula One was fourth place in a non-Championship race in Vienna in 1961, driving a Cooper-Climax. Collomb died on 19 September 2011.
