Biography

Arthur Leclerc is a racing driver from Monaco and the younger brother of Formula One driver Charles Leclerc. He won the Kart Racing Academy championship in 2014. In 2018 he finished fifth in French F4 with two wins, and in 2019 he took third in ADAC Formula 4 with US Racing-CHRS, with one win and eight podiums. That year he also signed with the Sauber Junior Team, and in 2020 he joined the Ferrari Driver Academy.

In 2020 he finished runner-up in the Formula Regional European Championship with Prema, winning six races and scoring 343 points. He lost the title to Gianluca Petecof in the final race at Vallelunga. He also raced for Prema in FIA Formula 3, finishing tenth in 2021 with two wins and a pole position, and sixth in 2022 with a win at Silverstone. Earlier in 2022 he had won the Formula Regional Asian Championship with Mumbai Falcons. In 2023 he stepped up to Formula 2 with DAMS and ended the year 15th on 49 points, with a podium in Melbourne.

At the end of 2023 he left the Ferrari Driver Academy and became a development driver for Ferrari in 2024. At the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix he drove in free practice in place of Carlos Sainz, and with Charles he formed the first pair of siblings to drive for the same team in the same official Formula One session. He drove again at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In Formula E he worked for Venturi as a development and test driver from the 2017-18 season to 2019-20.

In endurance racing he won the 2024 Italian GT Endurance Championship with Giancarlo Fisichella and Tommaso Mosca. In the European Le Mans Series he won at Imola with Panis Racing and finished fourth in the standings. In 2025 he raced for AF Corse at Daytona and in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, where he finished fourth in the 24 Hours of Spa. He stayed with AF Corse in that series for 2026.
